QoL update coming soon
First of all I’d like to thank the person that donated $2 to my project! Just one donation and even the smallest amount really means a lot. Thank you and anyone else who is interested in this project and watching it grow! This is something I’ll be working on long term so stay tuned! I found out I can add rewards to my project for anyone who donates, I'll try and get something going, maybe early access to a new character or exclusive costumes!
I’ve been experimenting on creating a long requested hack n slash tutorial video for Unreal Engine lately and after backtracking and making a base character from scratch again, I found quite a few things that were wrong with my main project that I plan to fix. I have plans on integrating this fresh character into my main project as a 3rd gen character, much more refined than the last 2. Not all will be in the next update but I am planning a mostly QoL update. Here are the details and a preview of a tutorial system I’ve implemented into the chapter 1 character.
Planned Update notes (ETA maybe some time this month)
-player character’s lower body no longer moves while performing certain attacks with the move forward button held
-Delete the ugly big wall of text and implement interactive Tutorial system that works for both Mouse&Keyboard and gamepad
-Move around the watermark text for a more pleasant experience
-New game will now start from Character 1’s stage instead of template stage
-fix the camera shake to character 1 basic attacks
-music player
-organize loot & crafting system
*Enemies will drop materials that can be used to craft items
-FIXED: LanFangs held bow attacks and Dragongirls held greatsword attacks now works with mouse!
In terms of new characters, I have a few planned for a new character base (3rd gen) but haven’t really started on them yet.
Valkyrie (wrist blade / shield)
- ice elemental Fighter game inspired Combo based abilities. Fighter mode and shield mode.
-planned integrated stealth and counter based executions
Kunoichi ( Shortsword / Spellcaster)
-Ninja moveset with tier based charge spell system
Barbarian (giant pillar)
Yui battlecat improvements
-fps mode overhaul, combat rework
