PROJECT_REMNANT 1.3 preview (WIP)
(Current update) I’ve come back from the hospital and will be back on working on my project in a few days! I’m excited to bring at least 3 new movesets to the next update. A feminine magical moveset, a dual kodachi ninja moveset, and the twinblade transformation moveset I used as a prototype.
(Current update) Unfortunately I have to put a pause once again on my Project. I’ve come down with some weird respiratory infection I’ve been laying down and resting most of the day.
(I’ve resumed Ue4 and 1.3 will be extended until I finish on a new character! It will be a bit easier to develop compared to the others because there are already existing attacks and logic. Previously it was a prototype I used to learn the engine but I want to bring him to life. I just need to implement the character properly, modify animations, and add some extra mechanics. Here’s what the moveset will look like)
This is an ongoing project I’ve been working on in Unreal Engine. Currently suffering a right hand injury I’m limited to using my thumb, so this update while nearly finished may take awhile to release. Maybe a few weeks! Someone has recently donated to my itch.io and it means so much to me so I just wanted to thank them and share my progress to show the project is still alive! A lot of things are still a WIP so don’t mind white boxes and other glitches.
In this update there are no new characters but I’ve focused on adding new extra features. There is now a functional UI element, new randomly generated s upgraded skills for GhostSamurai along with a summonable hoverbike. Climbing, Assassinations, and counter attacks have also been implemented into GhostSamurai. Yuki’s FPS mode has been tweaked a bit; better aim assist, thinner projectiles, new sniper rifle, and a stand-alone FPS map along with a headshot system (headshot damage is colored purple) There are many other little things like bodies finally being able to dissolve once killed and loot looking much more shinier. In 1.3 the player will be able to change their character straight from the main menu, no need to unlock them based on chapters.

-basic shot and homing shot for hover vehicle
-upgraded iaido attack for GhostSamurai (random chance)
-upgraded sheath attack for GhostSamurai (random chance)
-new costumes for GhostSamurai
-fixed GhostSamurai stance change error, causing third stance to play first stance animations
-fixed GhostSamurai sheath capabilities, can now sheath during all stances
-burst mode heals GhostSamurai on hit
