1.2 change log
Rather than working on a new character, I wanted to focus a little more on having an interactive and functional level with customizable things like music and spawn triggers as well as better game loop elements like loot, progression, and enemy types. This will hopefully make the game feel like you can get on and grind for things, face new challenges and then save that progress before you leave.
Additions:
-Interactive tutorial, one for each character
-new cosmetics for Blader
-fixed ghostsamurai g2 cyborg armor
-added storage system that saves items
-Cinematic Camera mode
-new enemy types (mesh)
-New area (training room)
-Secret Merchant that randomly spawns around the map and sells all droppable items for the currently possessed playable character.
-new hit fx for Fps projectiles
-music player
-add sound to bow
-P for pause menu to leave, access options, etc
8 interactive objects:
Lion 1 - portal trigger to the old level
Lion 2 - music toggle (3 different tracks)
Lion 3 - enemy spawn toggle
Lion 4 - enemy type toggle (keeping this statue on will constantly change enemy type while toggling it on and off will change the enemy type once)
Oni Statue - unlock next chapter (statue can be tracked with radial scan)
Incense - alternate cinematic camera mode
Big torch - boss 1
Big torch 2 - boss 2
**Still broken for mouse - some held combos for bow don’t work properly, but they all work fine for gamepad
**Access save games via
C:/Users/your username/appdata/local/tpbuild/
If there are any issues regarding the storage box delete your save from this location
Fixes:
-items now drop according to the character being controlled. This applies to the first 3 characters.
-most items are no longer craftable but they can still be obtained from enemy drops or the secret shop.
-fixes some camera issues when close to enemy
-Inventory screen properly shows current character’s name
-Button changes; Dpad down or E to interact, dpad up/T to toggle FPS mode, d pad left/F for radial scan
-forward dodge fixed for keyboard
-player character’s lower body no longer moves while performing certain attacks with the move forward button held
-Move around the watermark text for a more pleasant experience
-New game will now start from Character 1’s stage instead of template stage
-fix LanFang camera shake
-LanFangs held bow attacks and Dragongirls held greatsword attacks now works with mouse!
